"Studio Still Life" (2018)

This photograph is shot with a vintage Nikon camera on 35 mm film. I used a 85 mm lens and Cinestill 50 Daylight film. My big source of inspiration is anything between late 1800's and late 1930's. When I entered Dymph de Gooijer's studio to photograph her for my project "artists at work", for a moment I felt like I had walked into an atelier dated early 1900's. And some photos channel the energy from that time. I believe we can access certain energies from different times and express this in any art form. I call it tuning into Akasha. Sometimes this happens spontaneously and sometimes we can deliberately tune in. It's magic.

Limited edition of 30 excluding 2 artist proofs. Printed on Hahnemuhle fineart paper, signed, numbered and authenticated by the artist. The Myscha Oréo watermark will not appear on the prints.
