"Kimoni series BLUE" (2011)

This photograph is part of the "Kimono series" taken in May 2011. I used vintage kimonos as an inspiration point for several photo shoots. This white silk kimono is an undergarment, it is so soft that it relaxes the skin instantly. This was one of those keeping eyes open for the "decisive moment" photos. The wind and the sun would show and hide within seconds and I needed a specific combination of light and movement to create the feel of this image. This required me to be in full focus and to BE READY. Often timing is everything. And patience.

Limited edition of 30 excluding 2 artist proofs. Printed on Hahnemuhle fineart paper, signed, numbered and authenticated by the artist. The Myscha Oréo watermark will not appear on the prints.

Prints sold unframed with a white bleed.

Please be aware that colours may vary monitor to monitor. Subtle variations in sharpness, shadow, light, softness and grain are all part of the creative expression of the artist. Actual sizes may vary slightly according to the layout of the photo.
